As the Week 4 Thursday Night Football matchup approaches at MetLife Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys are positioned as favorites against the New York Giants. This is largely due to their impressive track record in away games against the Giants, having secured victories in their last three encounters at this venue, including a dominant 40-0 win in their most recent clash. Will we witness a repeat of such a lopsided scoreline this Thursday?

Cowboys Eager for Redemption After Recent Losses
The Dallas Cowboys kicked off their NFL season with an impressive road victory over the Cleveland Browns (33-17). However, they have struggled since then; suffering a significant defeat against the New Orleans Saints (44-19) in Week 2 and narrowly losing to the Baltimore Ravens (28-25) in Week 3.
Dak Prescott showcased his skills during that game by throwing for two touchdowns and amassing an impressive total of 379 passing yards while also contributing one rushing touchdown. Unfortunately for Dallas fans, defensive shortcomings allowed Baltimore’s potent running attack to dominate with three rushing touchdowns.
This raises questions about whether these issues will haunt them as they head into MetLife Stadium? Not necessarily; while Devin Singletary poses some threat as one of the Giants’ running backs, he doesn’t quite match up to Baltimore’s Derrick Henry level of performance. Nevertheless, it’s important to note that New York possesses several offensive threats capable of making plays.
Giants Aiming for Consecutive Wins After First Victory
The New York Giants began their season on shaky ground with losses against both Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders but managed to secure their first win last Sunday by defeating Cleveland Cavaliers (21-15).
The offense performed well overall; however it was ultimately defensive efforts that clinched victory despite allowing two passing touchdowns from Cleveland’s offense which fell short.
